It may only be March but for those who scare professionally, it is always “spooky season.”
On Sunday, around 60 actors from three different haunted houses — Spook Hollow, Baldwin Asylum and Blood Moon Manor — attended what they titled Scare School.
During the session actors focused on character development and creating the perfect costume for their creepy personas.
These actors practice their scaring skills all year-round to make sure guests are thoroughly scared when they leave the haunted houses.
“Most people don’t just do this in October they can attest, all of our actors, they live Halloween, they live for the scare. It’s just something they enjoy doing is scaring people,” Spook Hollow Scare Actor Development team member Dale Little said.
