Bloomington police seek two men in armed robbery case

The Bloomington Police Department is seeking to identify two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery at the Subway restaurant on the 2300 block of E. Oakland last night.

Police said two men entered the business around 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning and went into an employee-only area, where one of the men pulled a knife and demanded money and an employee’s phone.

The employee handed over their phone and an undisclosed amount of cash.

One suspect is described as a black man, heavy set, mid-twenties to early thirties, wearing a dark hoodie, dark track pants with a red stripe down the legs, black shoes, and a reflective construction vest.

The second suspect is described as a black man of average build with some facial hair, wearing a dark hoodie, dark gloves, a black and gray backpack, glasses (possibly safety glasses), and a reflective construction vest.
