Teen author Jackson Grant is leaving his mark on the world one book at a time.
The fifteen year-old was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of ten.
His book titled The Donut That Roared, provides tips for kids and parents on how to handle “M-R-I” days.
“M-R-I days” as Jackson calls them can be scary for kids due to the loud noises and tight spaces.
The tips Jackson provides help transition the sometimes stressful experience, into a positive one. His most important tip is to reward yourself at the end of the day.
Jackson’s favorite reward? A hamburger and chili fries.
