Foggy Start to Our Wednesday

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect until 9 AM. Heavy dense fog has moved into much of the area reducing visibilities to less than a quarter mile at times. We should see the fog begin to lift around 9 or 10 AM this morning.

Today we’ll see plenty of sunshine before the clouds move back in around noon. A cold front will give us a few showers this afternoon. Nothing will be as severe as what we saw yesterday morning, but it will give us some additional rainfall. A cold front will push through the area overnight giving us a few showers before sunrise tomorrow. Then cooler air moves in for Thursday and on into the weekend. We are talking just fantastic weather, upper 70s in late August. This will be great for all those students moving into college this weekend. Bradley students move in on Saturday, so be sure to expect delays around the university area.

Today: Dense fog in the morning. Then, a few scattered showers this afternoon. Warm & muggy. Highs in the middle 80s.

Tonight: A few showers before sunrise. Otherwise, mostly cloudy. Lows in the middle 60s.
