LIVINGSTON COUNTY (HOI) — A Thursday morning traffic stop yielded a major haul for Illinois State Police.
When stopping a passenger vehicle in Livingston County for a traffic violation, a State Trooper said he smelled marijuana in the car.
The trooper found and seized roughly 38 pounds of cannabis from the car and arrested the driver, Anita Williams, 45, of Peoria.
Williams was arrested for cannabis trafficking, delivery of over 5,000 grams of cannabis, possession and of over 5,000 grams of cannabis.
She is being held in the Livingston County jail pending formal charges.
