Indoor alternatives for Halloween Trick-or-Treating

(HOI) — The snow and cold have pushed back or cancelled several Halloween trick-or-treating in local areas, but there are plenty alternatives happening tonight.

Here’s a list of where you can still trick-or-treat, but indoors:

Peoria’s City Hall-O-Ween

3-5 p.m., Thursday

City Hall

419 Fulton Street, Peoria

Offices will be decorated for Halloween and City staff will be handing out candy to the general public.

Candy Crawl at Northwoods Mall

5-8 p.m., Thursday

Northwoods Mall

2200 W. War Memorial Dr., Peoria

Join participating stores for Candy Crawl for all treats (and maybe a few tricks too).

Indoor Trick-or-Treating at Heddington Oaks

5-7 p.m., Thursday

Heddington Oaks

2223 West Heading Ave., West Peoria

Residents will hand out candy to all little ghouls and ghosts in attendance.

Trick-or-Treat at Hy-Vee Peoria Locations

4-6:30 p.m., Thursday

Sheridan Village – 4125 N. Sheridan Road

Grand Prairie – 7610 N Orange Prairie Rd

Trick or Treat Safety Program

5:30-7 p.m., Thursday

Trick-or-Treat date changes

Due to frigid conditions some communities have postponed their designated Trick or Treat times.

They follow:

The Village of Goodfield and Delavan has moved Trick or Treat times to Friday, November 1st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The American Legion parade and party have been postponed until Friday, November 1st at 4 p.m.
