Normal, Ill. (HOI) - Illinois State University's annual holiday glass sale was held Saturday.
The event is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents as emerging artists. All of the homemade items were on sale for the public including vases, cups and tree toppers.
Students put in countless hours to perfect glass blowing techniques for their classes.
"It takes years to master it, but when you work with someone and the material every single day it just comes naturally," said ISU Senior Zac Steiner.
Money from the glass sale is split between the program and each student artist. The glass program also hosts sessions for people interested in learning how to make the unique art.
