Bradley University issues new safety alert after armed robbery

ARMED ROBBERY

PEORIA, Ill. (HOI) -- An armed robbery near Bradley University has forced University police to issue another safety alert.

Bradley Police say around 10:25 PM Thursday night, they and Peoria Police responded to a report of a robbery in the 1300 block of West Fredonia Avenue.

Two unknown suspects approached a Bradley student as he parked his vehicle.

One suspect displayed a handgun, and removed property from the victim.

The suspects then fled on foot east towards North University Street.

No injuries were reported.

The first suspect was described as a black male between the age of 17 and 18, 5'8-5'9" tall, skinny, with a little facial hair, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

The second suspect was described as a black male, 6'0" tall, skinny, no facial hair, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
