Snow showers will be likely later this evening and overnight with lows in the low 30s. We could see some warmer air try to move into the area from the east which will allow for either a mix with or change to rain, especially for areas east of the Illinois River. We could see an additional 1-3" of snow overnight, with lesser totals east and higher totals west.
Tomorrow's weather will be pretty similar to what we saw today with some rain/snow showers at times. More snow will be possible tomorrow night into Saturday, which may bring an additional 1-2" of snow. Some areas north of I-74 could see upward of 3" tomorrow night and Saturday.
Once snow ends on Saturday the rest of our 7 day forecast looks cloudy by dry. Don't expect much change in our temperatures over the next week as highs remain in the mid to upper 30s with lows on either side of 30.
Tonight: Snow, with rain possible east of the Illinois River. Lows in the low 30s.
Tomorrow: Rain/snow showers at times. Highs in the mid 30s.
Saturday: Snow, especially during the morning. Highs in the mid 30s.
