PEORIA (HOI) - An Iowa man arrested in Peoria earlier this week is returning to his home state to answer to charges he killed two women.

The Peoria County State's Attorney's office said Matthew Dee Buford III, 36, of Waterloo appeared in a Peoria courtroom Friday where he told a judge he is not fighting extradition to Iowa.

Buford turned himself in late Wednesday night at the Peoria police station.

Our sister station KWWL reported the victims, Tamica Takeisha Allison, 42, and Andrea Rochelle Anderson, 41, were found dead from a shooting on Monday at 1112 W. 2nd St. in Waterloo.

Waterloo Police obtained warrants for Buford's arrest charging him with two counts of first-degree murder.
