Incumbent Jodi Hoos wins Democratic nomination for Peoria County State’s Attorney race

PEORIA (HOI) -- Incumbent Jodi Hoos has won the Democratic nomination in the Peoria County State’s Attorney race in Tuesday’s primary. 

The incumbent defeated challenger Chris McCall with 60 percent of the vote, 10,619, with 100 percent of precincts reporting.

Hoos was appointed to the position after the death of State’s Attorney Jerry Brady in 2019. 

No Republican candidate filed to run for the seat.
