River flooding is continuing along the Illinois River, and will continue for at least the next week and beyond. Havana won't crest until the weekend or early next week, again at major flood stage.
We'll continue to see mostly cloudy skies overnight with lows in the mid to upper 50s. Expect partly sunny skies tomorrow with highs in the low 70s. Some breaks in the overcast conditions will be possible, but still expect more clouds than sun.
A warm front will lift through the area on Saturday morning, and we'll warm up to near 80 behind the front. Some thunderstorms may be possible during the morning with heavy rain and gusty winds. A few storms may be possible on Sunday, but chances are only about 30%.
It will be a warm and muggy day with highs in the mid 80s. A cold front will approach from the west but not pass through until the end of the week. This means we could see daily rain chances for the upcoming work week with highs remaining in the low 80s.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid to upper 50s.
Tomorrow: Partly sunny. Highs in the low 70s.
