(HOI) -- Illinois' governor filed an executive order Thursday allowing in-person summer school class.
Gov. JB Pritzker's (D, IL) order says public and private schools can open for "limited in-person educational purposes, such as summer school," provided they follow health guidelines.
The guidelines include limiting people "in one space" to 10 or fewer, social distancing, regular cleaning and hand washing, and face coverings by everyone in the buildings who can't stay six-feet apart.
As of publication neither Peoria District 150 nor McLean Co. Unit 5 had commented on whether they would offer on-site learning or stick with remote education.
