METAMORA (HOI) - Two people working at Snyder Village Assisted Living in Metamora have tested positive for COVID-19, the facility announced on Tuesday.
Both employees are in quarantine at their homes, according to a statement posted on Snyder Village's website.
"We recognize that this news may cause uneasiness and concern among our residents, supporters, and family members. Rest assured, dedicated individuals are working without pause to provide the best guidance and care to protect the health and well-being of our residents and staff," the statement said.
"We are closely monitoring each Assisted Living resident for any symptoms."
Snyder Village said it's working with the Woodford County Health Department and the Illinois Department of Public Health to "prevent the spread of the virus and mitigate any further issues."
"Public Health will communicate with any members of our community who may have come in contact with the employees who tested positive," the statement said.
