After a hot & humid Sunday, that will continue for the first half of today. We are starting off with a mix of sun & clouds with temps in the low to middle 70s. As we go throughout the morning and into the early afternoon, warm and humid conditions will set the stage for strong to severe storms this afternoon and evening. A powerful cold front will act as the trigger for a line of strong to severe storms today. The best timing for the storm's arrival is between 2 PM and 5 PM.
The main threats this evening will be Damaging winds and large hail. With all the humidity we have in place, flash flooding is certainly possible. These storms will be real rain producers!
Keep an eye to the sky this afternoon. Chief Meteorologist Brian Walder will have your full forecast tonight at 5, 5:30, and 10!
