UPDATE: One killed in Friday morning car crash in Peoria

UPDATE (2 p.m.) -- Peoria police say one of the victims in the two-car crash Friday morning has died.

A 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the hospital after the accident, said Peoria Police Department spokesperson Amy Dotson.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Peoria County Coroner at a later time.

PEORIA (HOI) -- A two-car accident Friday morning sent three people to the hospital.

The incident happened at the area Reservoir and North Rochelle Lane.

Peoria Fire Department Battalion Chief Clint Kuhlman said no deaths were reported, but all three involved in the accident were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

One vehicle rolled over and caught fire. An occupant was also ejected, Kuhlman said.

An emergency communications spokesperson said Reservoir will be closed west of Sterling Avenue for a few hours.

Peoria Police Department are investigating.
