EAST PEORIA (HOI) -- For those who lost branches following the ice and snow of January 1-2 in East Peoria, the city has scheduled pickup dates for debris in February.

The city-wide brush collection will be held February 15-19, with the debris being picked up on residents' regularly scheduled trash collection day.

The collection is for brush only. Branches can not exceed 3 inches and 4 feet in length, according to the city's announcement.

Logs will not be accepted.

The brush pile must fit in an area no larger than 4 feet wide, 4 feet high and 8 feet long, which is approximately the size of a pickup truck bed.

If a winter storm occurs the week of the brush collection, the pickup will occur the week of Feb. 21.
