Isolated light rain showers will become more numerous throughout the afternoon hours. Afternoon high temperatures reach the upper 30s and perhaps the low 40s in some spots.
Light rain will transition over to light snow this evening, which will bring the potential for some accumulations. Some roadways may become slick in time for the Thursday evening commute.
The Friday morning commute may also be slick as a result of any snow that fell.
Additional chances for light snow are in the forecast for the daytime hours on Friday. The heaviest bursts of snow will be rather isolated, but could result in an another inch or so of fresh snow for some locations. Those traveling through the bursts of snow may experience reduced visibility due to the rapidly falling flakes.
