(HOI) - Looking to get creative with your quarantine hobbies?
Saturday is Local Quilt Shop Day in the Land of Lincoln.
The state is home to 108 quilt shops in 89 cities and Peddler's Way Quilt Co. in Washington said they have maintained steady business throughout the pandemic.
One of the owners of the company, Gail Warning said they had to adapt their business by providing more online sales.
"You know we were shipping a lot more and we did do curbside pick up so that people were not coming into our store," said Warning. "It was just a different way of doing things and adapting to what we could do to stay in business."
Warning says they have plenty of customers eager to create new projects and masks are the popular demand.
