FULTON COUNTY (HOI) - Here's a story to make you smile. The Fulton County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency mascot is getting some extra love for his work with the group. It's a cat named Trash Panda.

ESDA Director Chris Helle took in Trash Panda and used his likeness for spreading safety information, boosting fundraisers, and more.

The kitten was featured in dozens of memes, declaring his love for Fruity Pebbles cereal.

Well it appears someone at Post Consumer Brands caught on to the trendy cat, sending the Fulton County family a custom Trash Panda Fruit Pebbles cereal box, and other goodies.

"I think it speaks a lot to our community and what our residents do. It shows you the magnitude social media can have when you have a good community to rally behind you, wonderful public safety agencies, good county board members," said Helle.

Helle says they were shocked when they opened the package on Wednesday, but it makes sense for their famous cat.
