Man in critical condition after shooting in Peoria early Saturday evening

PEORIA (HOI) - Peoria Police Information Officer Amy Dotson confirmed one person was shot early Saturday evening. An adult male was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The victim was found shot in a vehicle. Officers arriving on the scene pulled the man from the vehicle and performed life-saving measures before he was taken to the hospital. Police said the victim sustained life-threatening injuries.

Police said multiple shots were heard around 5:30 PM near the 300 Block of Ravine Avenue.
