PEORIA (HOI) -- Authorities have made another arrest in connection to the January 29 shooting incident that left a 31-year-old man dead in Peoria.
This is the third arrest made in connection to the incident that left Jevon Gilliam dead.
Jamere Laster, who was sought in the shooting, was arrested in Grand Prairie, Texas on Feb. 22 by members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, according to a press release by the Peoria Police Department.
Laster was taken into custody on warrants not associated with the Peoria shooting and remained in Texas until he was extradited to the Peoria County jail on March 12.
On Tuesday, Laster was arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm, the release stated.
Also arrested in connection to the shooting was 31-year-old Marvin Sanders for first-degree murder and 19-year-old Dearian Patterson for aggravated discharge of a firearm.
