Our stretch of quiet and dry weather will come to an end tomorrow as two rounds of rain will be possible.
Our first chance for rain will come during the mid-to-late morning, especially near and west of the Illinois River. Some locally heavy rain may be possible at times.
Tomorrow afternoon should be dry and warm but cloudy. Highs will likely be a few degrees lower than what we've seen for the last few days, but temperatures will still remain well below average in the mid 70s.
Showers and storms return to the area tomorrow evening, especially after 7 PM. These will move in from south to north.
Severe weather is not likely, but any storms tomorrow could produce locally heavy rain, high winds and small hail.
We will then see rain continue into tomorrow night, and lingering showers will be possible at times on Thursday.
It will be much cooler but seasonal on Thursday with highs in the upper 50s.
