Temperatures starting off in the lower 50s being mixed in with some showers. Highs only reaching the 60s, with most areas seeing the upper 50s. Today will more than likely feel a bit cooler than Wednesday.
By the afternoon, most areas will begin drying out. For those along the I-55 corridor, a quick moving thunderstorm is possible. No severe weather is expected.
Precipitation chances clear out later this afternoon, taking some of the clouds with. Peaks of sun later this evening.
This weekend is not looking the best for Mother's day. Dry, sunny and warmer conditions for Friday before rain chances increase late Saturday evening. Most of Saturday should stay dry, but will be cloudy. Not the best forecast for Mother's Day as heavy rainfall and thunderstorms look likely.
