PEORIA (HOI) — As the state is just one day away from entering Phase 5 of the Restore Illinois plan — allowing all parts of the economy to fully reopen — the Peoria Chiefs will be back at 100% capacity starting Friday.
Officials with the organization made the announcement Thursday, saying fully vaccinated people will be able to enter Dozer Park without a face covering.
However, non-vaccinated fans are still recommended to wear a mask in all public spaces, unless actively eating or drinking.
“It’s been a long time coming since we’ve been able to operate at full capacity,” said Chief Revenue Officer Ben Garrod in the press release. “We look forward to welcoming fans back to the ballpark and welcoming back a sense of normalcy.”
