Temps will be in the low 90s this weekend, but dew points will climb into the mid 70s. This means that heat index values this weekend could rise to 100-105 at times.
We will continue to smoky skies for the next couple of days as well. Air quality tomorrow will remain in the moderate category, which means that anyone with a sensitive respiratory or cardiac conditions should limit the amount of time that you spend outside. However, for most people there should be minimal impact.
We may start to see some improvements to our surface air quality this weekend behind a front that will move through on Sunday. Some smoke and hazy may still linger in the upper levels of the atmosphere heading into next week.
