DUNLAP (Heart of Illinois ABC) -- The Wheels O' Time Museum gave visitors a sneak peak of its new LEGO structure display on Saturday.
'Bricks in Motion' is a giant exhibit that features a system of trains, railroads, rollercoasters, buildings and more.
The collection is a gift from the family of late engineer Richard Wetherill, who put the entire piece together in his basement.
Wetherill's sons said they donated the collection to the museum to share a piece of their father's legacy, and share his passion for building.
"Our father would be really honored and happy to see this happening. He was very passionate about this and many other things too. We're very grateful that this is happening here and going to be shared with so many others," said Grant Wetherill, Richard's son.
The full LEGO collection will premiere at Wheels O' Time in May of 2022.
