What a gorgeous day across the Heart of Illinois, honestly, this is perfect in this meteorologist's opinion. Sunny skies, low-70s, and a nice breeze. Windows up, music on type weather.
Tonight, it will be cool but seasonable. Low-50s for the cities, slightly cooler in some outlying areas. Mostly clear skies and a breeze will be persistent, too cool to keep the windows oven overnight.
It was a lovely day for the Peoria Fine Art Fair and day 2 will be even better with highs in the low-80s. No humidity to speak of and sunny skies. It will be breezy again like today. It will still be warm by the time it wraps up in the late afternoon. Lows tomorrow night will drop t the low-60s.
As I said, it will be breezy tomorrow as it is the season for such things. Gusts exceeding 20 miles per hour will not be surprising. Monday, it will be even warmer with highs into the mid and upper-80s. Because of the breeze, though, it will feel like the low-80s, very comfortable.
Rain chances move back into the region Thursday and Friday.
