9:30 AM UPDATE: Ameren Illinois’ website reports power has been restored to parts of Woodford and McLean Counties, that saw wire damage this morning.
Corn Belt Energy’s website reports only three of their customers remain without power at this time.
_________________________________________________________________________________________CENTRAL ILLINOIS (HOI) — According to a post on the Corn Belt Energy Facebook page, approximately 2087 co-op members are without power currently in McLean, Woodford, Champaign, and Ford counties.
Out of those numbers, Corn Belt’s website says 2,060 of those outages are in McLean County, while 1 is reported in Woodford County.
There is no word on what caused the outage, or when power is expected to be restored.
Ameren Illinois is reporting about 1,024 people without power in Lexington due to wire damage. That outage is expected to be restored by 9:45 AM.
They add that 1,218 people are without power near Cooksville in McLean County. That outage is caused by wire damage. It is expected to be restored by 9:30 AM.
Ameren is also reporting a small outage just south of Glasford. Power there is expected to be restored by 8:30 AM.
