PEORIA (WEEK) – A back to school tradition is growing at Franklin Primary School.
A two-sided wall of greeters welcomed the students back to the classroom.
More than 50 men of all backgrounds in Peoria dished out hundreds of high fives.
They want to give the Franklin students a positive boost to start the year.
“It sets the tone for the rest of the year,” said Amber Rose, principal of Franklin Primary School. “So accepting them into the building in this format gives them that positive feel.”
“And it’s a great start to their year.”
