DELAVAN (HOI) – A marijuana cultivation center in Delavan is growing as the day for legal weed draws closer in Illinois.
Revolution Enterprises is preparing to expand their cultivation center from 10 acres to 70 with today’s groundbreaking.
The number of employees will also rise, from 100 to 350 people.
Mayor Liz Skinner said that’s not the only thing the city is excited for.
“…the financial impact on our school district as well as the city of Delavan,” she said. “And we are really excited about this next endeavor that Revolution is purporting.”
Revolution is expecting the new center to be completed and running in the next two years.
