The four newest additions at the Miller Park Zoo are more than just cute, they’re rare breeds.

Storm, a San Clemente Goat, gave birth to two boys on June 7th. Then Valencia, another San Clemente goat, gave birth to a boy and girl on Monday.

“These four kids are significant because they are a critically rare breed. The Miller Park Zoo is invested in the long term success of San Clemente Island Goats.” zoo director, Jay Tetzloff, said in a news release.

The zoo says the goats are native to an island off the coast of California, San Clemente Island. They say there are around 700 of the goats on that island.

The new goats are on exhibit in the children’s zoo area.
