I joined the HOI team in September of 2016 and began producing and hosting special programs. Eventually I made into reporting, then weather, and now anchoring. You can catch me weeknights on Heart of Illinois ABC at 5, 5:30 and 10pm alongside Bobby Oler.
I was born and raised in Metamora with my two older sisters. I grew up watching HOI and it sparked my interest in broadcasting at a young age. It wasn’t long after that I was taking college courses under the very people I grew up watching.
I still cheer on my Metamora Redbirds, let’s go birds!
I graduated from Bradley University in 2016 with a degree in Communications, concentrating on Broadcast Journalism. While I was in school I was a Reporter/Anchor for BU-TV News, interned for two news stations and worked with the Peoria Rivermen.
I’m a cat lady at heart but my two Labrador Retrievers, Sierra and Kimber, have all my attention.
When I’m not at work I’m probably at boxing class, trying to redecorate my house or coaching cheer practice.
My dream job would be hosting Good Morning America or opening up my own animal shelter.
