Limestone’s Moms Who Care program wins big recognition

BARTONVILLE — The Moms Who Care program at Limestone Community High School in Bartonville is winning the Governor’s Hometown Award.

Representatives from the high school and the project were invited to attend a ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion in Springfield on Nov. 15, where they will receive a plaque and road sign to honor their achievements.

The Moms Who Care program gathers donations to fulfill student needs, such as clothing, food, hygiene supplies and school supplies.
