Henry, Ill. (HOI) – Whether you’re in it for the lemon shake-ups, or maybe even the tractor pulls, it’s a beautiful night for the Marshall-Putnam County Fair.

The festival started things up Wednesday, but Thursday is family fun night. Free stuff for the kids includes face painting, balloon animals, a dinosaur bone museum and even carnival games.

There’s live music lined up through the weekend, ending on Sunday.

For many people, the fair has become a family tradition, including the 2019 Miss Marshall-Putnam County Fair Queen.

“The Marshall Putnam Fair has been apart of my life ever since I was little. My grandpa use to be the president of the fair when I was super little and now being the queen I feel like I can live up to his footsteps because he has now passed away. It’s something deep down in my heart to be apart of,” said Chloe Hartwig, the new fair queen.

Don’t forget about the antique tractor show and kidding tractor pull on Saturday!

You can find the fair grounds off Route 29 in Henry.
