First Major Snow of 2019

A major winter storm is affect the midwest today. This system is huge; extending from Kansas to the Carolinas and bringing some more moderate to heavy snow to the area today. It looks like it is going to be snowing pretty much all day long with moderate snow likely at times this morning and early afternoon. We are looking at 6 to 9 inches of snow for areas along & South of I-74! Roads are still snow packed & slick. Due to the heavy nature of the snow, some branches fell onto power lines in McLean county this morning. We’ll continue to watch the snow throughout the day.

Today: Moderate to Heavy snow in the morning. Then snow showers throughout the afternoon before tapering off late this evening. High around 32°

Tonight: Snow Ending around midnight. Mostly cloudy & breezy. Lows in the middle 20s.
